Background Dr. Grandy is a Teacher and Researcher at the Department of Biological Sciences (Microbiology Unit). He holds a Diploma in Microbiology and a Bachelors of Science degree (Hons), Biochemistry from the University of Benin. A Masters of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental & Public Health Microbiology. His research interest are in Microbiology, Toxicology, Pollution & Herbicides studies, Environmental Genetics and Microbial Ecology. He is a member of several learned societies notably, the American Society of Microbiology (ASM) and the Nigerian Society for Microbial Ecology (NSME). To his credit, he has several research publications both Nationally and Internationally.
