Background Dr. Josephine Ese Konyeme (Nee Evwoh) is a Science Educationist from Effurun in Uviwe LGA of Delta State. Dr. Josephine Ese Konyeme was employed in the service of the then Bendel State Government as a Lecturer in the Department of Integrated Science at the defunct College of Education, Agbor in 1988. She held several administrative positions including Acting Provost, College of Education between 2014 – 2016, Deputy Provost (2012 – 2014) served as two times HoD, (1993 and 1998) Coordinator and Director of the NCE Part – Time Programme (2002 to2008); Dean of Sciences (2008 – 2012) among other appointments within the College. With the establishment of University of Delta Agbor, Dr. Josephine Ese Konyeme was appointed a Senior Lecturer and Currently serves as the Acting Head, Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science.
Education She holds a Bachelor of Science Education (Ed) (Zoology and Chemistry) 1987. Master in Science Education (1988), Master in Science (Hydrobiology and Fisheries) (2005) from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State. As a teacher, Dr. Josephine Ese Konyeme graduated from the prestigious College of Education (Now Delta State University) Abraka where she obtained her National Certificate of Education (NCE) in Biology/Chemistry in 1983. This marked the beginning of her illustrious carrier as an educator. Dr. Josephine Ese Konyeme had her Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Science Education from the Delta State University, Abraka in 2010.
