Background Dr Ewoma Oghoghene Oduma joined the services of the defunct College of Education, Agbor as a classroom teacher in the Staff Secondary School. Upon completion of her masters degree in 2007, she was redeployed in 2008 to the Department of Biology, College of Education, Agbor to lecture. She bagged a Ph.D. in Parasitology from the Department of Animal and Environmental Biology, University of Benin in October 2021.
She is a member of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Zoological Society of Nigeria (ZSN) and Parasitology and Public Health Society of Nigeria. She has attended academic conferences and workshops within Nigeria.
Her academic interest and focus are on Neglected tropical diseases, Fish parasitism, wildlife parasitology, conservation, biodiversity and ethnobiology.
She has published and co-authored some articles in local and foreign journals.
Education She obtained her B.Sc. Zoology and M.Sc. Zoology (Parasitology option) from Delta State University, Abraka in 2001 and 2007 respectively. She also holds a (PGDE) from the University of Benin.
