Background Dr. (Mrs) Pass Chidiebere Chijindu was born in Warri, Delta State. She obtained her B.Sc. (Hons). in Botany at Delta State University, Abraka, proceeded to University of Ibadan where she obtained an M.Sc in Botany (Ethnobotany) and then went further to obtain a Ph.D in Phytomedicine at Department of Plant Biology and Biotechnology, University of Benin, Benin City. In addition, she has a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Dr. (Mrs) Chijindu was employed as a Lecturer at the Department of Biology, College of Education, Warri, Delta State in 2013, where she rose to the rank of Senior Lecturer. Presently, she is a Lecturer (Lecturer I) at the Department of Biological Sciences (Biotechnology Unit), University of Delta, Agbor, Delta State. Dr. (Mrs) Chijindu is a member of Botanical Society of Nigeria (BOSON), Nigerian Society for Plant protection (NSPP) and Teacher’s Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). Her research interests include Plant Biotechnology, Botany, Ethnobotany, Phytomedicine and others. Dr. (Mrs.) Chijindu is happily married with Children.
